AMVETS Post #88 of Massapequa hosted the Loyalty Day Parade in Massapequa on Sunday, May 6, 2007. By Congressional Decree, Loyalty Day is a day set aside for all Americans to get together to reaffirm their faith in the government of the United States of America. On Broadway, from North Utica Avenue to Toronto Avenue, AMVETS sponsored the parade to counteract foreign and domestic threats of disloyalty.
