On March 15, 2008, Lou Brock and Bob Gibson made an appearance at Last Licks. Lou Brock is a retired left fielder from the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals. Bob Gibson is a retired pitcher from the St. Louis Cardinals. Both signed memorabilia for their excited fans.

NY Giants at Last Licks
On March 8, 2008, the NY Giants players made an appearance for an autograph signing at Last Licks Massapequa. This included Ahmad Bradshaw, Osi Umenyiora, Brandon Jacobs, Steve Smith, Kevin Boss, Craig Dahl, Jay Alford, Gerris Wilkinson, and Zac DeOssie. There were two signings. One was a VIP Autograph Signing, at Butera's Restaurant, and the other signing took place, in a tent, next to the North Fork Bank. Fans anxiously awaited to meet, take pictures, and recieve autographs from the players. This extravaganza was one of the biggest signings that ever occurred at Last Licks Massapequa, especially since the NY Giants won this year's Superbowl.

Pete Rose made an appearance at Last Licks Massapequa on February 9, 2008. He is the former first basemen for the Cincinatti Reds. Currently, Pete Rose is retired. He has had an excellent record with the Cincinatti Reds. The line for the signing went from Last Licks down to Butera's Restaurant.

On December 11, 2007, Leon Washington, number 49 of the New York Jets, was supposed to make an appearance at Last Licks Massapequa to sign autographs for his eager fans. Each waited anxiously, memorabilia in hand, when the news came that Washington would not be coming. Washington refused to answer his phone, leaving fans dissapointed for the night. Last Licks should be rescheduling Leon Washington for an upcoming date, as fans wait in suspense for their next chance to meet him.

On December 8, 2007, Lawrence Taylor, former player for the Giants, number 56, made an appearance to sign autographs at Last Licks Massapequa. The line stretched out the door, around Butera's and towards Whitewood drive. The crowd was excited to meet him and get autographs from the star on their sports memorabilia.

On November 18, Joba Chamberlain made an appearance at Last Licks Massapequa. He signed autographs for his fans on items they had purchased, at Last Licks, or brought from home. The line started at Last Licks, wrapped around Butera's Restaurant, and continued onto Whitewood Drive. NBC news even showed up to shoot live video of the event.

On Tuesday, October 9, 2007 Eli Manning appeared at the Massapequa Last Licks in the Southgate Shopping Center to meet and greet his Giant fans, sign autographs and be photographed with Massapequans.

Eli Manning is one of the most well-known players on the New York Giants team today. Last Licks brought Eli to Massapequa to sign autographs for all of his Massapequa fans. Lined up to Merrick Road, the crowd of fans was anxious and excited as they waited to meet Mr. Manning. Many fans had purchased V.I.P. tickets and football memorabilia prior to the event. These items included footballs, helmets, and photographs. More than 40 fans entered to win the V.I.P. pass on massapequaNEWS.com which was awarded to Steve Morotta.
