Memorial Day 2010 On Monday, May 31, 2010 the American Legion Post 1066 Hosted and the VFW Post 7763 Co-Hosted the 2009 Memorial Day Parade in Massapequa Park. Beginning at Village Hall on Front Street at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at Klestinec Park on Broadway, the town residents turned out to witness veterans' organizations, community groups and elected officials march to commemorate the United States men and women that died while in the military.
