New York State Assemblyman Joseph Saladino hosted his sixth annual "Marine and Outdoor Recreation Expo" on Sunday, October 2, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Jones Beach West End Boat Basin alongside the Short Beach Coast Guard Station in Wantagh, NY.

Assemblyman Saladino utilized this venue to introduce children, families and enthusiasts of all ages to fishing, marine education, and other outdoor recreational activities. This year's event also included marine life touch tanks, solar and renewable energy demos, environmental conservation exhibits, NY's largest fish-shaped cake, Coast Guard/Police Boat tours and live music.
