Top Story: Arrest Made in Vehicular Assault - In Possession of Prescription Butalbital, Defendant Charged with DWAI, etc.

41 year old W. End Avenue resident was operating a 2008 Lexus eastbound on Sunrise Highway at Dobson Avenue in Merrick when she struck a 1998 Dodge Suburban stopped in traffic. This propelled the Dodge into the vehicle in front of it, causing a chain reaction of four additional vehicles. The defendant’s vehicle then struck two parked cars before coming to a stop. The 68 year old male operator of the Dodge was transported by N.C.P.D. Helicopter to Nassau University Medical Center where he was admitted in critical condition...FULL Story on the Web
