Dean Marneris, 41, homeless, entered TD Bank located at 3222 Sunrise Hwy., Wantagh, approached a teller and made a verbal demand for money.Utilizing information coordinated by the NCPD and NYPD, the Robbery Squad had initiated several bank surveillances which led to Marneris being stopped in the parking lot of Gateway Plaza, 2010 Wantagh Ave., where he was placed under arrest.Robbery Squad detectives connected the defendant to three additional TD Bank robberies.Those robberies include the robbery of the same branch on Wednesday, 03/10/10 and two robberies of the Plainview branch, 500 Old Country Rd. on Sunday, 12/27/09 and Saturday, 03/20/10.
Marneris is being charged with four counts of Robbery 3rd Degree and will be arraigned on Saturday, 03/27/10 in First District Court, Hempstead.
