Headliners: Wantagh Arrest for Larceny Linked with Seaford Arrest
According to Detectives, on March 3, 2010 Chalena Weathers, 18, of 336 Pennsylvania Avenue deposited a fraudulent check into her account at the Chase Bank located at 1201 Wantagh Avenue.The bank notified the fraud department and had her account frozen.

On March 4, 2010 the defendant was taken into custody when she returned to the bank to withdraw additional funds.Defendant Weathers is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree and Possession of a Forged Instrument.She will be arraigned in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead on March 5, 2010.The investigation is continuing.
