The Seventh Squad reports the details of a fatal auto accident that occurred in Massapequa at 11:00am on January 20, 2010.
According to Detectives, victim Rosalia Raia, 85, of Massapequa was crossing Broadway in the vicinity of Toronto Avenue (on foot) from west to east when she was struck by a 1999 Ford driven by an 18 year old female driver. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and transported to Nassau University Medical Center. It was determined there was no criminality in this accident.
