The Chamber of Commerce of the Greater Massapequas launched the 2007 fall season with its Health & Wellness Festival at the Massapequa Train Station from September 14th - 16th.

Vendors, including Arbonne, the U.S. Post Office, Raymond E. Bartolo, Jr., Chiropractor, Carol Ann's Holistic Day Spa, Synergy, Hypnotic Solution Center of Nassau, My Professionals, Centered Self Health & Wellness, New Island Hospital, New York Life, Curves, Island Senior Solutions, 1-800 Got Junk, the Vitamin Shoppe, Linda Viviano Speech & Language Pathologist and Mona Vie set up shop at the event. All of the merchants displayed their goods and services for an eager crowd with great reception!

Guests of all ages enjoyed the rides provided by "Dreamland Amusements." They boasted an arsenal of rides that included classic favorites such as the ferris wheel, merry-go-round and smaller rides geared towards the younger children.
Elected officials were on site to show their support. Notable public figures such as Massapequa Park Mayor James Altadonna, Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto, Receiver of Taxes James Stefanich, Councilwoman Rose Marie Walker, Town Clerk Steven Labriola and District Court Judge Candidate Rhonda Fischer were in attendance.
